Protective behaviours can be implemented in all walks of life. Courses will be tailored to agency/ organisational needs.

A) FOR ORGANISATIONS/SCHOOLS

1. "THE PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN" - BASIC TRAINING in the program is a pre-requisite for internalising the program - Teaching self empowerment and living skills to assist children to resist bullying, sexual and physical abuse. And yet still access their adventurous natures living a life of choices and discovery whilst developing problem solving skills. This is a prerequisite course for courses marked as **

2. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL - "Safety = Choice and Control" -This program focuses on peer pressure, sexuality, substance abuse, suicide, homosexuality. Utilising protective behaviours principles to make informed choices and implement strategies that work for the individual. **

3. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOCUSES ON RESPONDING TO SEXUAL ABUSE/DISCLOSURES - This workshop will enable participants to explore what they can do or say when someone discloses. Looking at confidence in saying the "right thing" and responding appropriately, utilising networks, protectively interrupting for client and self. Remembering that "Nothing is so awful that we can't talk with someone about it." **

4. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOCUSES ON ALL PARTIES IN THE BULLYING DYNAMIC - This workshop looks at a whole school approach and 'no blame' concerned approach model and is based on "Teenscape" by Michelle Elliott from the U.K. and "Enough is Enough" a bullying programme developed and adapted in South Australia by Mission S.A. from A. Pikas work. **

5. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR ORGANISATIONS - "Riding the Shock Waves" - this is a program for organisations who wish to implement the process of Protective Behaviours and C.I.S.D. in their workplace to reduce the effects of stress and burnout, Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome in staff. This can happen after and organisational community experiencing, critical incidents such as a suicide, a death, threats of harassment or violent acts perpetrated against staff.

6. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR PROFESSIONALS - SELF CARE FOR CARERS "Relax it only takes a Minute to Reduce your Stress levels and increase safety" a Self Care Program skill enhancement through non-violent intervention strategies in dealing with difficult people. Focussing on safe and unsafe, early warning signs, boundaries, limitations, protective interrupting, persistence expectation and networks.

B) FOR THE COMMUNITY

1. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR ABORIGINAL WOMEN AND CHILDREN - "The Spirit of Keeping our children Safe" - This program is culturally sensitive and looks at differences in child rearing and explores how Protective Behaviours can be used as a tool in a mother and child's life to keep safe, whilst still living, loving and risking. **

2. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR PARENTS - "SAFETY WITH RHYME" AND MIME" for JUNIOR and "WHAT IF'S" for YOUTH This program enables parents to teach their children about safety through drama, rhyme, mime and fun activities, utilising the 'Best Option' problem solving method that promotes self-esteem and creative thinking.

3. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR WOMEN - "Unsafe on the Streets?" Teaches about travel safety on the street, public transport, taxis, trains, interstate and overseas travel. Also looking at the beliefs and values associated with sexual harassment.

4. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR WOMEN LIVING IN DV SITUATIONS - "Cycles of Living Workshop" -this program will assist women to understand the DV cycles and how it impacts on their and their children's lives. It teaches how to interrupt and protect themselves and children using Protective Behaviours principles and strategies.

5. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR MEN - "Respond or React" A program where men claim and reconcile their power with their gentleness in harmony. Learn to respond to aggression in a violent world through non-violent intervention strategies and protective behaviour principles. Recognising the interdependence of all humans.

6. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS LOOKS AT "GAY" - As a minority group the Gay and Lesbian community experiences many prejudices and violent reactions. Using the principles of PB and NVI individuals in Gay community can increase their awareness and knowledge of how to feel and be safer. Expanding networks, building confidence and enhancing communication.

7. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR SENIORS - "Honouring our Wisdom and Experience" - This program incorporates daily living safety strategies for living loving and risking in the home, on the street, travelling and dealing with difficult people. Staying youthful utilising vast life experience and knowledge whilst exercising choice, opportunity, and acknowledging growth through discovery.

8. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR WORLD PEACE - "Hey ! what's that you said" - Empowering language v disempowering language. Challenging the fabric of our belief and value systems. Looking at how violence is perpetuated in our society through the use of victim language in the media, in the workplace and in everyday living.

C) FOR YOUNG PEOPLE/CHILDREN

1. 6. PROTECTIVE BEHAVIOURS FOR FUN - "Rhyme, Mime and Play" - How to put the program into practice with client groups through drama, clowning, skill rehearsal, fun , games and activities. suitable for use with children and youth. **
